I received the pretzel necklace, what do I do?

I just received the pretzel, now what? how long can I keep the necklace?
enjoy it, style it, wear it a couple of days and then pass it on to some one in your friend/family/co-worker circle, that you think might enjoy it. the idea is for the necklace to "travel" to as many, and as far as possible.
how do I wear it?
we see three ways, a simple, classic chain necklace, as an asymmetrical necklace, and as a pendant style piece. alone or layered, take a look at the pretzel link necklace, and you can take the styling from there.
should I contact janet setter jewelry when I receive the necklace?
YES, we would love to hear from you, and if you are feeling so inclined, a photo of you wearing the necklace (cell phone camera's work great). submit your photo(or just a comment ) to jsj via email, our facebook page, or by making a comment on our blog.
at the very least and so that everyone can enjoy the progress...email us your first name and the town you're from so we can post where the pretzel has been passed.
I am ready to pass the pretzel along... should I clean the piece?
YES, please do, before passing the pretzel on. gentle soap and water will do, with a thorough drying afterwards. we've also enclosed a small polishing cloth, if you'd like to prep the piece for your neighbor.
do I have to mail the necklace to share it?
no, if you're sharing with a neighbor, just be sure to share the "packaging" along with the necklace, in the event she wants to mail it off to someone. if you're mailing the necklace, we ask that you use USPS and the packing materials we supply.
do I need to insure the package if I mail it?
no, not unless you feel the need to; we will provide a "package" that can be forwarded again and again, with a new label slapped on top. and if we need to get new packaging to you, just contact us.
top of page
what will it cost to mail it?
via the USPS, $1.71 via first class mail using a standard 6 x 9 envelope; we'll be glad to credit you with that amount on your next order, just request it!
is there a cost to participate?
no, with the exception of mailing costs, if you choose to mail it on.
are you nuts, sending around a necklace, thru the mail, no less?
we thought it would be a great way for people to experiment with our signature asymmetrical design pieces and have a little fun in the process; we hope it will brighten your day a bit.
what if the piece is lost/damaged/packaging is gone, am I responsible?
no, we understand that unusual circumstances can arise, we just ask that you treat our necklace with the same care you would if it were your own, and if something out of the ordinary were to happen, just let us know so we can restart the pretzel.
are you collecting our data?
NO, this is purely for fun, if we use your email, it will only be to correspond with you regarding the "pass the pretzel" fun, and for questions etc. that may arise.
